Wrestling From Hollywood with host Dick Lane made it's debut on WFMY channel 2 in Greensboro,NC on Thursday night August 2,1951. Jim Crockett Sr. featured many of those performers at his live events in Greensboro and other parts of his territory.

Paul Jones and Nelson Royal wrestled Aldo Bogni and Bronko Lubich on the first show.According Johnny Weaver's records, he and Sailor Art Thomas beat Tom Bradley and Johnny Heidman at the Raleigh,NC taping at WRAL 5 on July 2,1969. All Star Wrestling on WCSC 5 in Charleston,SC was running three weeks behind during this period.
